Wrestlemania XXX Predictions

ImageWrestlemania, the most exciting night in any wrestling fan’s year. We celebrate 30 Wrestlemanias and this year’s event should prove to be memorable as a star will be born. Let’s go through some picks of who will come out on top on the Grand Stage.

The good news is I got my Tag Title, multi-team match. The bad news is it’s on a pre-show I probably won’t get to see this match until Wrestlemania 30 comes on DVD/Blu-ray. It’s cool to see that most guys on the roster will be competing in New Orleans in front of 75,000. That being said, the Usos are competing against 3 other teams. Los Matadores are a talented team but did not pick up a convincing win versus Rybaxel so I can’t see them winning. Rybaxel hasn’t strung together too many wins so I can’t see them winning. The Real Americans are a strong and dangerous; a deadly combination…if you can function as a team. In the last few weeks the Real Americans have been able to solve some cracks but I think the pressure of the Grand Stage may expose the cracks further between Swagger and Cesaro. The Usos are too talented to be defeated by a team at half strength. I think the Usos will kick Wrestlemania off with a bang and a successful title defense.
WINNER: THE USOS

What an odd match! Of all the possible six man squads to face the Shield at Wrestlemania, this has got to be one of the oddest teams and comes across as no threat to the Shield. Sure the New Age Outlaws and Kane are veterans and have competed at Wrestlemanias before, but this isn’t the Shield’s first time on the big stage either. The Shield will take care of this team easily, they are just too dominant and too good in that ring. Next year, should they be together, let’s hope the Shield gets some real competition.
WINNER: THE SHIELD

Every girl on the WWE roster will be on the Wrestlemania card. This match, despite the beauties may be bowling shoe ugly! Fourteen women all battling for the Diva’s Title in one match, one fall to the finish. I’m interested to see how this brawl goes down. AJ has the odds against her and is more than capable of overcoming the odds. My heart says to pick AJ but I’m going to go with someone who is linked to someone else who will probably pick up some gold later in the night. A win a Wrestlemania sounds like a solid season finale for Total Divas!
WINNER: BRIE BELLA

A Royal Rumble at Wrestlemania! 30 men will start together in one ring; this will be chaotic. It’s a fun match but a sad match. It’s sad because at one time any one of these thirty men were positioned for something greater in the company. There’s a ton of reminders of potential stars, stars who just never were and guys who probably won’t shine like stars again. As far as a pick goes, I’m going to choose a man who hasn’t been announced, which once again begs the question what’s possibly next for any of these guys?
WINNER: ALEXANDER RUSEV

What an awesome build to this match. John Cena is the ultimate good guy and Bray Wyatt isn’t necessarily the ultimate bad guy, but he doesn’t enjoy how good Cena comes across and is seeking to expose the monster he believes Cena to be. I don’t quite understand it, but I’m loving the psychological game. Cena is scared and Bray Wyatt is confident. Granted, nothing to date has ever rocked Wyatt’s confidence. He has his Family but he rarely relies on them to compensate for anything Wyatt may lack. How then do you beat Wyatt? Wyatt is fierce, dangerous and more often than not victorious. I think this will be a far better match that it should be and although Wyatt may suffer his first loss, he will be a star by night’s end.
WINNER: JOHN CENA

Can Brock Lesnar end the Undertaker’s Streak? He certainly can. He is stronger than probably anyone Taker has ever faced at Wrestlemania. He is possibly the greatest amateur wrestler Taker has ever faced at Wrestlemania. Brock Lesnar is possibly the most wreckless man Taker has ever faced at Wrestlemania. Brock Lesnar can and probably will hurt the Undertaker. He will do all in his power to end the Streak. Will he? Absolutely not. The Streak will never end and the Undertaker will defeat Lesnar in convincing fashion. 22-0. For the Streak to end, for fans it would just leave too much of a… sting!
WINNER: THE UNDERTAKER

Triple H has had many matches at Wrestlemania, but he hasn’t had a match of the night with guy who wasn’t named the Undertaker or Shawn Michaels. At Wrestlemania 30, Daniel Bryan vs. Triple H for the third spot in the WWE World Heavyweight Championship Triple Threat Match, WILL BE the match of the night because it’s destined to be. Everyone hates Triple H and everyone loves Daniel Bryan.  There has been about 8 months of long term investment by the fans. The final ingredient is that if Bryan defeats Triple H he finally gets his fair shot one last time at the WWE World Title. Daniel Bryan will conquer the Game. It may not be destiny, or an odyssey or a boy hood dream but Daniel Bryan’s Wrestlemania moment is on the horizon.
WINNER: DANIEL BRYAN

Remind me, who is the WWE Champion? and who won the 2014 Royal Rumble? Actually, it doesn’t really matter! There is one question that millions of fans have already answered, will Daniel Bryan walk out of Wrestlemania XXX as WWE World Heavyweight Champion? YES! YES! YES!
WINNER: DANIEL BRYAN
