Main Event: Wrestlemania XXIV

Here we are in the Top 10 Wrestlemania performers and Edge kicks off this list. Edge has competed for and defended numerous championships, he was in the Main Event, he challenged the Streak, squared off against top stars and has had numerous Wrestlemania moments. Edge kicked off his Wrestlemania career in a memorable Triangle Ladder Match where he was able to win the tag titles. Edge competed the next year in the first Wrestlemania TLC match that will go down as one of the greatest Wrestlemania matches in history. Edge, memorably, speared Jeff Hardy from a ladder as Hardy dangled holding on to the straps; an iconic moment in the Attitude Era. Speaking of memorable moments Edge would go on to be the first man to win the Money in the Bank Ladder Match and fought Hardcore Legend Mick Foley in an amazing Hardcore Match, even spearing Foley through a flaming table. In Edge’s final four Wrestlemanias he was involved in World Heavyweight Championship bouts. For three out of the four, Edge came into Wrestlemania as champion. Sadly, Edge’s career would come to an end, but how fitting that this spectacular Wrestlemania performer would have his final match be a World Heavyweight Championship where he came in and left as champion on the Grandest Stage.
